We designed these tailpieces to add a little extra downward pressure to your bridge compared to the No-Knot tailpiece. The extra pressure adds volume and pop which I particularly appreciate on banjos with skin heads!

We hand cast these in our shop ourselves in small batches out of bronze. This is a passion project as the casting process takes several days and lots of elbow grease to clean up the bronze afterwards. We hope you love adding the tone and look of these tailpieces to your banjo as much as we do to ours!

Made specifically for playing Banjo, these nails are the same material as some of your favorite guitar picks and have wonderful tone. A pack includes 4 nails, a nail file, and nail putty. Inspired by the Banjo builders of old we decided to cast our own banjo key / wrench. This bracket wrench is 5/16” and fits our banjos.

This is a banjo that has been on my bucket list to build for a long time. Vega banjos have always been one of my biggest inspirations as a builder, so we’ve put a lot of energy and detail into this banjo. 11 13/16” pot makes it very similar to a 12” pot, it has a huge bass with a great snap from the Tubaphone tone ring. We also really love the removable back/resonator to give it extra volume and depth when needed. The Burled & Spalted Ash head plate and heel are from wood we foraged while hiking in our woods. I’ve loved playing it and slowly working on it for the past 2 years, once this sells we’ll be investing in new bucket list projects and builds we’ve always wanted to do and I’m excited to see where this banjo goes next!

This one of a kind banjo’s tone has warmth and sparkle to it. With plenty of depth and volume it would make a great banjo for cutting through in a big band or playing solo. Hand engraved mother of pearl fern / snail inlay. The shoes and tailpiece on this banjo were custom cast in our own shop out of brass. The tailpiece design adds a bit of sparkle to the tone. Eden and I put all of our love and attention into this build working together on the design of the shoes, inlay and fit / finish of this banjo. I hope whoever gets this one enjoys playing it as much as we enjoyed building it.

Figured Walnut neck with figured ebony fingerboard banjo for sale. This banjo has an 12” pot, Dobson tone ring, ebony pot cap, aged brass hardware, Renaissance head, S scoop and white mother of pearl arctic fox inlay. In our opinion, this is one of the best sounding banjos we’ve built. We always know our banjos are going sound great and be pretty consistent sound-wise, but sometimes the stars align and something comes out spectacular and this banjo is one of those times!
